Well-Child Exams Just Got Better!
Below are some helpful hints and facts regarding well-child exams at Innovis Health Pediatric Center...
- In addition to your child’s well-child exam, your pediatrician will recommend an annual vision and hearing screening for ages 3-17 years as a part of their preventive care. If you have concerns regarding coverage, please be sure to check with your insurance provider prior to your appointment.
- Mental health screenings will also be recommended and are offered at no charge at 6-month intervals for children ages 6 months-5 years of age.
- Immunizations play an important role in preventing illness and your pediatrician would like to review your child’s record so that they can make recommendations. Please bring all immunization records with you to your appointment.
- Please discuss immunizations with your child prior to their appointment. This will build trust between you and your child. Children most often respond better to receiving vaccines when they are prepared ahead of time.
