Is it same-day symptoms or emergency?
Same-day care is not intended to be a substitute for emergency care. In an actual emergency, dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Go to the nearest Emergency Room, if you have:
- Chest pain/pressure, tingling on left side, dizziness or other heart attack symptoms
- Slurred speech, paralysis or other stroke symptoms
- Shortness of breath
- Difficulty breathing
- Severe cuts
- Severe burns
- Head injuries
- Severe abdominal pain
- Unexplained high fever
- A infant or child with breathing trouble or severe fever
- Severe and unusual headache
- Seizures
- Emergency childbirth
- Bleeding that does not stop
- Drug overdose
- Poisoning
- Life-threatening injuries
- Severe allergic reaction
Same-day care is also not intended to treat chronic conditions or serious medical conditions, as you would want to schedule an appointment with your primary care doctor or a specialist in those cases.
