Safety Audits
Innovis Health will assist you with your company safety policy implementation and safety audits. We will initially set up a site visit to evaluate the facility and any programs presently in place. This allows us to estimate the amount of time needed to address any issues we find.
We will then submit a proposal for further services and send to the employer for approval and authorization.
Lastly, we will schedule a convenient time to come to the worksite and collect any necessary information to evaluate the compliance of the company. We will work with the employer, management team and employees to come up with the most effective procedures possible.
This work is strictly confidential with the employer and nothing is submitted to any regulatory agency.
Audit reports will contain any regulations and rules that help with OSHA standards. This will allow for improvement in areas in which they were not previously followed or required attention. Any areas that will require testing or needs for safety or industrial hygiene will be reviewed.
On-Site Nurse Programs
Your business may be large enough and/or have enough injuries that require a need for an on-site nurse. Innovis Health provides on-site nurse services for interested employers/companies.
Employee Health Fair
Taking the time to do an on-site health fair for your employees will help with company morale. It tells the employees that you are concerned about their health and well-being. Our Occupational Medicine team members will come to your facility and do a basic wellness testing for your staff.

Industrial Hygiene
Industrial hygiene is the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of workplace environmental factors that may affect the health, comfort or productivity of the worker. These dangers can occur for all forms of occupations.
Industrial hygienists play an important role in ensuring that the workplace is as free from hazards as possible and that the workers and the community at large are protected from potential health threats. Industrial hygienists help increase worker productivity and reduce insurance and medical costs, thus lowering overall costs while keeping workers safe and healthy.
Industrial hygienists typically assist with many of the following:
- Ergonomics – helping to limit disabilities due to repetitive and/prolonged movements.
- Environmental Lead – finding solutions to problems occurring from unsafe levels of lead found in old paint, contaminated water, and other materials.
- Hazard Evaluation – determining the real potential for ill health effects by performing functions such as testing for potentially hazardous gases and vapors, measuring noise levels, and evaluating results from such measurements and tests.
- Workplace Environmental Exposure Levels – sets limits on exposure levels and provides guidelines for control of chemicals, noise and radiation in the workplace.
- Indoor Environmental Quality – ensuring inside air is safe and free from irritants and toxins, including problems such as sick building syndrome and second-hand tobacco smoke.
- Asbestos – testing for and possibly removing asbestos. This mineral fiber, once used as a flame-resistant insulation in buildings, has since been found to cause cancer and other illnesses.
- Radiation – testing and controlling radiation emitted from power lines, electromagnetic fields, radioactive materials, etc.
